Infrastructure Implementation
NXme has the long experience in design, implementation and operations of many crucial Internet infrastructure systems, both in the most developed countries and in the emerging markets.
Network Information Center (NIC)
The objective of NIC is to administer and operate the Internet domain names under its Top Level Domain – either country level (like .sa or .ae) or generic (like .com or .gov).
Typical parts of NXme NIC solutions are:
- ccTLD Domain Name Registry - database tracking domain names and IP addresses
- WHOIS Service – protocol to query the owners of domain names, IP addresses and autonomous system numbers
- Local Internet Registry (LIR) – allocating IP addresses to its customers
NXme service covers the development of DNS administration rules and procedures, design and implementation of the systems and training the local staff.
NXme is the specialized vendor in the area on Domain Name Systems Administration. We will design and audit DNS architectures and systems and will provide the leading products for:
- DNS administration and IP address management (Nixu NameSurfer)
- Domain Name Servers (Nixu Secure Name Server, SNS)
- DHCP Servers (Nixu DHCP Server)

International Gateway (IGW)
The International Gateway provides Internet connectivity to international Internet Service Providers (transit ISPs) in other nations. This includes the management of international lines, the filtering and proxy services.
The systems design affects to the resilience, capacity and cost effectiveness of the international Internet connections.
Filtering services can be added to the gateways for the management of undesirable contents.
All of the internet gateway systems must be very reliable and cost-effective at high bit-rates. This is determined by the system architecture, design, implementation and operative processes. In a build, operate and transfer mode, the culture of systems maintenance and refinement is taught to the customer staff by our experienced consultants.
Internet Exchange Point (IXP)
Also the Internet Exchanges (IX) are the major components to reduce the cost of the transit services and to increase the capacity of traffic within the country and outside the country by physically interconnecting the networks (e.g. ISPs).
The reliable high capacity hardware solutions are needed with the rigorous principles and membership rules.
Information Security Center (CERT)
The most important benefits of the CERT are to co-ordinate national and international incidence response, the dissemination of pro-active material to prevent incidences and to act as the center of excellence in incidence analysis. CERT has a proactive and reactive role in providing information security for its country or organization.
Network Operation Center (NOC)
NOC manages the traffic in IP networks. This includes availability and configurations, especially of the routers, error diagnosis, and performance analysis, traffic accounting and control of security standards.
NOC can be based either on open source or commercial systems.
Security Operations Center (SOC)
SOC is a real-time, centralized and integrated management center for all security threats and solutions. Security events from the separate systems like firewalls, anti-virus systems, intrusion prevention and detection systems, access control, identity management, and authentication systems are collected, analyzed and reported in efficient way.
The technical solutions need efficient policies and procedures and trained experts to create operations for guaranteeing the compliancy for different security frameworks and standards.
Internet Service Provider (ISP) infrastructure
To run their business ISPs need a technical infrastructure to provide their customers Internet access (e.g. dial-up, DSL), DNS-, hosting- and other services. The ISP billing systems are the key business part of the infrastructure.
NXme can use and support either open source or commercial systems for ISP.
Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT)
NXme is an independent security vendor who can design and implement the solutions with different technologies and operations modes. Often the customer needs some partial solutions and sometimes the whole operations need to be designed, implemented and operated to be transferred later to the customer - complete with the technologies, processes and the trained staff.
